WVMountaineerSports.com officially endorse Parkersburg, WV for ESPN’s Titletown competition.
Parkersburg, WV, population: 33,000 - with three high schools and 192 state championships is the epitome of small town America’s love and dedication to high school sports.
WVMountaineerSports.com has selected Parkersburg not only due to its proximity to WVU, and all things Mountaineers, but because every athlete that plays in Parkersburg is from Parkersburg. Unlike any other city in the competition.

Every player in Parkersburg is from Parkersburg. Unless they’re from PCHS, then they’re probably from Marietta or Belpre.

Valdosta Georgia won. I live in Valdosta (via Charleston West Va.) and cannot believe they won. How about LA, Boston, NY or Green Bay? Now I have to hear about this crap until I leave this hole.
