Bob’s Picks

I just watched the once mighty Florida State Seminoles lose to Wake Forest! Another ranked team going to down to an unranked… I love this game. This just goes to prove that I was right the other night, Cinci… er USF is the best team in Florida! Now on to my totally biased picks for week 7:
Top Ten: (ESPN Rankings)

#1 LSU at #17 Kentucky - Kentucky upsets
Oregon State at #2 California - Cal wins
Kent State at #3 Ohio State - Ohio State (Cupcake Game of the Week)
#4 Boston College at Notre Dame - Notre Dame upsets an overrated ACC team
UCF at #5 South Florida - South Florida remains undefeated
#11 Missouri at #6 Oklahoma - Missouri upsets
#7 South Carolina at North Carolina - UNC pulls another shocker
#8 WVU (BYE WEEK)
Washington State at #9 Oregon - Oregon EZ
Arizona at #10 USC - USC wakes up

BIG EAST GAMES:
Rutgers @ Syracuse - Rutgers hand Syracuse yet another L
UCONN @ Virginia - UCONN stayin’ undefeated (i hate VA)
Louisville @ #15 Cincy - Cincy, keeping 3 undefeated Big East teams through week 7.

Dave's new wardrobeAside: What the hell is wrong with Pitt and Mr. Wann-stache? I don’t even think I need to go into what happened last night but damn, he screwed the pooch. Kick the field goal. WVU needs Pitt to get better, fast. This season is done, but I hope Dave can pull the team together for next year, if he’s even coaching that is.

OK lets see how we did this week in the top ten picks…

JWilson: 5 of 10, an improvement over last week.

Bob: 50% I’ll take that thank you.

Black Beatty: Seems he was playing the spread so i’ll try to figure this out…
Seems he only won 2 games. Screw the spread picks.. that’s why I stay away from that. If i’m wrong let me know.. trying to do this fast.

To me a win is a win. The spread doesn’t count come December and the bowl picks.. or at least it shouldn’t.

Black Beatty didn’t fare too well going 6-10 on his picks. But there is one consolation prize….

How bout them JAYHAWKS! See ya in the Gator Bowl.

  7. MountaineerBob | Oct 15, 2007 | Reply

who you going to see in the Gator Bowl? Well I guess we’ll be in the same state, but WVU will be in Miami not Jacksonville.

  8. Black Beatty | Oct 15, 2007 | Reply

Negative tuff guy. If WVU wins out then I bet they make a BCS game. Otherwise its Jacksonville for you.

    Kansas might be in Miami.
