We get by with a little help from our friends…

Oh and we can get high with a little help too! Syracuse, oh buddy, oh pal, help a brother out! Our backyard neighbors sPitt couldn’t get it done last weekend… will you?

My prediction is Syracuse will triumph over the ButtCats. Here’s why:

  1. It’s college football and nothing is predictable. The last few years in the NCAA has proven that.
  2. Cincy is coming off a big high from their win over sPITT. They were even throwing oranges!! I feel they may be looking ahead without looking at the next game.
  3. Syracuse is coming off a huge high from the ND upset last week that pretty much ruined ND’s chances at the Gator and Sun Bowls. Time to skin a (bear)cat!
  4. It’s Greg Robinsons last game ever at Syracuse. I know they are happy to see him go, but he has been the players coach and I guarantee they will play their hearts out. He recruited them, they chose to play for him, they will play their hearts out.
  5. “They’re hot,” Robinson said. “They’re on a roll. They have a lot to be playing for. It’s an opportunity for us to finish our season on a high note. That’s what our team will be all about, going out and giving our very best effort and let the chips fall where they may.”

  6. Everyone likes to be the spoiler, ask sPITT, it greatly helped their recruiting at the end of last year. The coaches staying will want to have this W and get some press with it.
  7. The Bearcats just aren’t winners. They haven’t won a conference title in 40 years.

One thing we have to remember though, is that is PITT beats WVU, this is a worthless conversation as the Bearcats will clinch the Big East title. So Cincy will know going into the game whether they have to win or not.

I’m sure you guys have some thoughts about this…. what do you think will happen?
