Stewart Names Assistant Coaches


This just in, Coach Stewart names assistant coaches:

  • Steven Dunlap - Marshall Defensive Coordinator - will be Asst. Head Coach and Safeties Coach
  • John “Doc” Holiday - Assistant Head Coach at Florida - will be recruiting coordinator and tight ends, full backs
  • Charlie Taafe - Maryland Offensive Coordinator - OC and QB Coach
  • David Lockwood -Kentucky secondary coach

    I think he is a senior so he’s going somewhere and it won’t be as a Mountaineer. Wish he could though I feel he’s finally going to be able to get the ball now that RR isn’t calling the plays.

    actually he is a senior.. but he has another year of eligibility through Prop 48. He may be back next year, no official word yet, if he doesnt go NFL he will be back.

    The Pittsburgh Post Gazette is reporting that Darius will forgo his final season of eligibilty and turn pro. Dingle already stated he was leaving, now we wait for Slaton. BTW, love the site.

    The Hamilton Tigercats are denying that Taafe is coming to WVU. They are saying it would be “tampering” if WVU talked to him without the teams permission. This was reported on wvmetronews.com
