Joe Mazzulla gets the boot!
UPDATE: Apparently Joe Mazzulla got kicked off the team for his arrest last week on charges of domestic battery. He was involved in an incident at The Lazy Lizard bar in Morgantown in which he allegedly grabbed a woman by the neck.
Bob Huggins just kicked Joe Mazzulla off the WVU basketball team FOREVER.
I don’t think Huggs is too worried about replacing Joe with all of the stud recruits he is bringing in. It does suck for the kid though. I wonder what he did to get the boot? (if you know do tell) He’s been a trouble maker though. Remember last year in Pittsburgh him and Throughman got arrested at a Pirates game.
Maybe Huggs is turning to a new chapter in his coaching life and actually trying to kick the “Thuggins” reputation?

West Virginia University men’s basketball guard Joe Mazzulla has been suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules, coach Bob Huggins announced today.
“Joe is suspended indefinitely from all basketball related activities,” Huggins said in a statement. “We take violations of our team rules very seriously.”
