Joe leaves WVU for good and will remain in the NBA Draft!

The way Alexander was kicking butt in those NBA workouts we diehard Mountaineer fans knew the writing was on the wall. We’ve all been hoping and praying, for the past two months, that he would stay for his senior season to try and make a huge run for that elusive NCAA Championship. However, on Sunday evening, the word became official.
Joe Alexander will remain in the NBA Draft.
On June 26th he will await the announcement from NBA Commissioner David Stern as a potential lottery selection from one of the NBA teams.
According to http://www.nbadraft.net Alexander is projected to be 8th overall by the Milwaukee Bucks. The Knicks, Suns, and the Golden State Warriors are also very high on him.
We at www.wvmountaineersports.com wish Joe Alexander the best of luck in the NBA. We certainly believe that Alexander will have a successful pro career due to his insane athleticism and an unmatched work ethic. Coach Huggins has made a difference in one year’s time with Alexander and I believe there’s no doubt others will follow suit in the near future.
