In all the excitement and goings on in the last week, how could we have forgotten the heart and soul of the Mountaineers birthday? I feel so bad now…but everyone please wish Owen a happy birthday.
He may be from Fairfax, VA….but to me he’ll always be a West Virginian and the true meaning of what a Mountaineer means. Happy Birthday Owen!

Owen Schmitt will be missed. The recruits coming to replace Owen will never come close to his speed,strength, and hurdle-like agility. Best wishes in the NFL, Owen. Hope you end up playing for the Steelers.
