Is the curse of PacMan Jones and Chris Henry back in Morgantown? It seems that way. News came through the wire today that two current players were arrested for theft.

Here we go again.

Just when you think Coach Rod is cleaning up the punks in the program, we get news like this. I thought with the exit of Chris Henry and PacMan Jones, this kind of bad press would disappear. Is this the price of having a national team? Do you have to recruit asshole punks? Do you even know what your getting when you recuit? Do you keep taking a chance on kids with bad reputations like Devine? Only time will tell I guess, but I hope I’m wrong when I say that this is feels like a bad flashback.

The players involved were James Thomas, 18, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Ellis Lankster, 21, of Whistler, Ala. The south has once again produced two punks who don’t understand what it means to be thankful that they are in a position to have a potential great college football career and maybe even make it to the pro’s. I just don’t understand how these kids can blow it like this.

We are in the major national spotlight now and everytime a player slips up like this it’s going to make the news. We have to be squeaky clean this year.
