ESPN to air WVU vs. Cinci Game
News just broke that ESPN (or ESPN2) is going to air the Cincinnati game on Saturday Nov. 17th. The game will start at either 7:45 or 8pm. This isn’t 100% yet because ESPN has put the game on a 6 day option. So we’ll have to wait till Sunday to find out.
All of this really depends on if Sissynatti can win this weekend against a #13 ranked UCONN. If UCONN wins we will fo-sho see the UCONN game get picked up. I’ll be in Motown though either way.
This is turning out to be a great season of televised games. I think by the end of the year we will have seen 8 games on national TV! Next year, all 12!!!

Yes I am glad too. I live in Myrtle Beach South Carolina so all these games on ESPN have been great. ButI have had to buy 3 of the games on ESPN Gameplan for 21.95 a piece. So all these games on regular TV has been great. And now we got the Cincy game on thats great!! Lets Go Mountaineeeeers!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just hope the Cincy game is on in Texas. This part of the country is REALLY stuck on themselves and only like to show the BIG 12 INCH–oops, I think it’s conference. Speaking of Texas, I had the shock of my life when I opened the front of the Houston sports page this morning and there was a HUGE picture of Coach Rich Rod. A&M in very interested in him. Let me tell you something. In Texas going to A&M is like living in WV and going to Marshall. I pray Coach Rod will never sell himself out to those stupid Aggies. However, in Texas they do believe anything, or anyone, can be had for a price. $$$$$$
Hey guys and gals, I hope the game is on in your area. Make sure you check your listings about an hour before the game.
For example, I’m in Pittsburgh and right before the Rutgers game the assholes at Channel 4-WTAE switched to the Pitt Louisville game! There are so many WVU people here in pittsburgh too!
I had to scramble to find the game. It was on a low def channel, but I found it. About 20 minutes into the game a dozen or so people found their way to the bar I was at.
In this local pub they had the PITT game on every TV but one, and there were 2 PITT fans in the bar compared to about 15 WVU fans dozen! It was great, especially since PITT lost that game! BWAHAHAHAHHAHHAHA.
Carla, Rod would never leave for A&M, if he didn’t take the Alabama job why would he take the Aggies job? They can keep dreaming. He’s from WV and loves it. He has kids in school and a wife near her family too. Fo-Get-A-Bout It!
I’m also in SC, and it’s nice to see WVU on tv. I was in a bar/restaurant here in Charlestono a couple of weeks ago, and the place was full of Mountaineer fans looking for the game. There is also a local SC WVU fan club (you can find them on MySpace). They meet every weekend to watch the game at a local bar owned by an alum.
We Are Everywhere, I love it. When I lived in Charlotte, there was a huge Alum base. They actually have the largest Alum Association in the country and we would gather at a local sports bar to watch the games. It was great and I’d say there were on average 100 wvu fans there every time from every age group.
