There has been a lot of chatter recently about Ebanks bolting to the NBA next season. Those rumors have been Offically Squashed by Bob Huggins and crew.
from the Daily Mail:
West Virginia University announced Monday that Devin Ebanks will not enter the NBA Draft.
The Mountaineers had no players drafted into the NBA for 11 years, none drafted in the first round in 40 years and only a few even considered before Joe Alexander broke the spells last summer.
A simple two-paragraph statement from Coach Bob Huggins in the afternoon said Ebanks, a 6-foot-9 forward, “will not put his name in for the 2009 NBA Draft.” Ebanks averaged 10.5 points and a school freshman record 7.8 rebounds per game.

No **** he is staying. Why did anyone think he was leaving. He is not even close to being a one and done guy. He is an nba guy in the future but not now.
I agree, I was surprised to hear he was even considering it. If he has a good year in 09/10 he’s out though.. and who can blame him.
