CSTV needs to fire Brian Jones

I’m jumping on this bandwagon late. I saw this video yesterday and thought it was hilarious. Of course hind-site is 20/20, but Mr. Jones seems very very confident he knows what he is talking about. The only excuse I would give this jackass for his comments is that he went to school at OU, but after listening to him, I doubt he even graduated high school.
This idiot will not even admit he was wrong about the Fiesta Bowl. It was reported on WBGV.net that he responded to a WVU fans email. Here it is…

Just like all you WV fans, running your mouth and talking trash. You didn’t win the Fiesta Bowl, Oklahoma lost it. If your team would play OU 10 times you would get BLASTED 8 out of 10. I stand by my statement, WVU is a 1 dimensional offense. RUN, RUN, RUN. With a lucky pass that turns into a touchdown, on a blown coverage and another one on a missed tackle. Your new hire sucks, your fans are deplorable, and your university will never be a big time contender for the NC. You and your dislusional [sic] fellow fans can email me all you like, I will never give the football program any respect at all. Seems like evryone [sic, again] is running out on your program, maybe you should do the same.
I’m not 100% that this is true but after hearing his so called analysis, I wouldn’t put it past him. I can’t seem to get any information on his qualifications to be a sports analyst. So if you know anything about this jagoff, let me know.

i think hes just mad.. hes allowed to have his own opinion.. give it a rest.. even if its wrong/bad..
hes the one who looks stupid..
my only gripe is when a man cannot admit that he was wrong… which he clearly was.. give credit where credit is due, move on, and try again next time..

Brian Jones was a linebacker for the University of Texas before a five year NFL career which ended because of injuries. He hates OU. He was an exceptional student all the way through graduation from UT. His opinions are his opinions, but they don’t come from an uneducated or inexperienced viewpoint. If somebody out there can call them all-let me know and I’ll set you up in Vegas so we can get rich. I wouldn’t have said anything if “Carla” could have kept her “Texas” comment to herself. I’m from Texas-and wouldn’t ever say that everyone in West Virginia is a dumbass–just her!

I love that fact that he was wrong, wrong, wrong. But the last game we played before the bowl kind of backs him up. You have to admit that West Virginia did things they rarely did all year, like passing over the middle and deep. Even when those plays didn’t work, it forced OU to cover them and opened up the stretch plays, etc. later on. It still kills me to think how good this season could have been if we would have attacked the middle of the field a little more.

he needs to admit we won that game out right. We kicked their flippin a$$. He’s either a Big 12 lover like Herby is a Big 10 lover or just plain ignorant.
I think CSTV keeps him around just for this reason
