Got a good rant from Couchburner today
How do we keep dropping in the polls? it’s crazy. friggin’ PSU is 10th now after beating three opponents that are worse than the three we’ve played…and they’ve all been home games. crap i tell you, total crap. The only justice i see is Wisconsin dropping two spots after barely beating the Citadel. Alabama goes from not ranked to 16th after squeaking out a win against #24 Arkansas.
He’s right, more biased voting coming in from the “experts” at the AP and Coaches polls. Screw them, it’s too early anyway.

Settle down there Couchburner. Most ya’ll know polls out this early are ridiculous. Who knows if WVU outta be #5, #2, or #20. Same with any other team. Need to play 5-6 games before you can really tell who is any good or not. To further point out why these polls are retarded is the fact that Kentucky is still behind Louisville in both polls. Gee, that makes sense. Quit crying Cburn! Hopefully my Jayhawks will see your team in a bowl game and kick your arse!

Seriously Crotchburner. WVU has been overrated in the polls for years, and now your gonna cry cause they arent ranked high enough for ya after week 3? Wonder what they’ll be ranked after we come down and pull the upset. Won’t matter since you hicks will probably burn the campus down anyway.

Wandstache, before you start making bold predictions about pulling the upset in Mo-town, maybe you and all 2,000 Pitt fans that attend home games should worry about not becoming the new Temple of the Big East. I was at the Back Yard Brawl last year at Heinz field and it was basically another home game for WVU. If Pitt continues their losing ways, we’ll have no choice but to replace you with a decent team like East Carolina. Wandstatt is a terrible coach and it shows year after year. Yeah, yeah, he’s had some of the top recruiting classes in the country, but he can’t do anything with the talent because he SUCKS!

Dave Wannstedt is a good coach that inherited a team built for a deep passing game with a speedy under-sized defense. He has been recruiting to build a legitimate team that has the size to run the ball and stop the run. This year has been disastrous, injury wise; they lost their #1 QB, #1 WR and their best defensive lineman. Hell, if they had a descent QB, they would have beaten Mich State easily.
I have no excuse for an empty stadium. Where are the students? Where are the alumni?
We are building now, enjoy your rankings and success now; it ain’t gonna last. I will root for WVU this year; Go Big East!
