The Bearcats are in Morgantown today to challenge WVU in a game that has major Big East implications. Currently WVU sits on top of the Big East hill and it’s ours to lose. We win out, we go to a BCS Bowl. This sounds easy enough after the mediocrity of the Big East this season but that exact same reason is why we can’t get lazy. The Big East has been extremely unpredictable this year. But I don’t want to get ahead of myself.. first things first… beat the Bearcats.
Here are ESPN’s comments on the game:
It’s a battle of quarterbacks in West Virginia, where Pat White hosts whomever Cincinnati has healthy. The Bearcats have gone through three quarterbacks, with Tony Pike playing the past two despite a broken non-throwing arm. West Virginia has won three straight against Cincinnati and leads the all-time series 14-1-1.
The quarter back situation is very interesting at Cincy, keep an eye on our D. I have a feeling they will try to shut him down early and maybe break his other arm!
Pitt plays tomorrow and if they lose to Loserville and we win by even just one point the Big East is a done deal and OURS AGAIN. See y’all at the game!

Ummmmm We win and Pitt loses does not lock the Big East up for us yet. That will give Pitt 2 conferences loses and we still have 3 remaining after Cinci… One of which is against Pitt… I am just saying the road is not clear yet, and we still have the redemption games against Eat @hit Pitt and University of #@%$ Sucking Florida…
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MOUNTAINEERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It’s the same situation we always find ourselves in. If we come and play like we’re capable..it’s ours. It’s been like this for years now. Nobody in the Big East has our talent. It just depends on who shows up.
True Kevin, I was a little tipsy when I wrote that post last night and was feeling that we are unstoppable. You would think I would have learned my lesson last year but I honestly think that if the same team shows up that has the last two weeks we will be a lock.
Pat White isn’t going to let his team or the fans down in his last two home games. I honestly hope PITT wins so they have some sort of idea that they could win the Big East when we go to Pittsburgh the day after Thankgiving and ruin their dreams of a BCS! Same with USF! I hope they win out until they meet up with us!
I’m putting on my shoes and headed out the door. See ya in Motown
LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOO MOUNTAINEERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I dont think so…. Flip your predictions man lol!!!!
Well, another stinker in Morgantown…..once again the Mountaineers choke when they controlled their own destiny. Louisville, Pitt, and USF now loom on the horizon. We have to win ALL of them.
last night’s performance from the o-line eerily reminded me of the one from south Fla.(a game which I attended) last year. It was atrocious. The staff needs to get more out of these guys and on a more consistent basis…and can we get someone in there that can teach these guys how to defend on kick-offs?!
Frustrating stuff.
this type of playing/play calling makes me sick. Cincyfan, you guys are going nowhere, deal with it.
a big lose was dent not playing, also what happen with the play calls they went from good the past few weeks then to shit again, i hope all those cincy fans get pumped then watch their team lose to Louisville, they’re this years Louisville of two years ago but they wont go to a bcs game
