West Virginia received its eighth verbal commitment for the 2009 football recruiting class when offensive guard Jordan Weingart said he wanted be a Mountaineer.
Weingart is a 6-foot-3, 290-pound guard from F.W. Buchholz High School in Gainesville, Fla.
