Carrying the Big East…. AGAIN!
Once again, the Big East looks to WVU to lead the pack. Both South Florida and PITT lost today. WVU is now 2-0 and the only undefeated in the Big East. This begs the question, is the Big East a highly talented and very competitive conference or does it just suck ass!?!?
Hard to tell right now. But PITT, USF, and CINCY all losing today really screws WVU. Now we probably won’t play any ranked teams this year. The Big East will not have one ranked team tomorrow. OUCH!
The stage is set for WVU to get back into the BCS again this year though, just run the table and we’re in, no tie breaker worries or anything. A silver lining? Only time will tell. I can’t wait to hear Herbshitstreit and Holtz and May and Corso rip up the Big East, lots of fun! Ha Cha!

Yeah, the Big East sucks. But the clowns on ESPN will have nothing to say about it, because the ACC and Pac Ten are awful too.
Consider that Virginia: USC dismantled 52-7, lost to Duke, and to UConn, has now reeled off five in a row and is leading their division.
Virginia Tech blew it today against a mediocre (though somehow ranked Florida State squad), Maryland lost to Mid Tennessee State earlier this season and defeated NC State today.
The Pac-10 “boasts” possibly the two worst BCS teams in the country in Washington and Washington State. Arizona State is a huge disappointment, Oregon State beat USC, etc. etc.
Yes, the Big East is full of mediocre teams, but WVU is back where it belongs in first. Win out, and let’s go to the Orange Bowl.

WVU will be ranked #24 or #25…there were alot of teams at the bottom that lost this weekend. The Big East still needs Utah and Boise St to lose…period.
