Big East dominates on opening night 2007
By MountaineerBob on Aug 30, 2007 in Big East
The Big East had three teams playing on Opening Night 2007. Louisville, Rutgers, & Cincy. The games are now over and things got BigShizzy Nasty!
Total points tonight: Big East teams = 170 Opponents = 16…..Big Least my ass.
Questions: Does WVU need to run up the score against the scrubby but respectable Western Michigan U? Is it necessary? Does running up the stats help or hurt? Will it effect the polls? What if WVU only wins by 30 and not 60?
Personally, I think once you get a lead like Louisville did early, put in the 2nd & 3rd string. I want to see Devine touch the ball a few times. I want to see Brown get some play time early in the season. Lets round out the team with play time experience. Slaton will win the Heisman without getting 5 touchdowns in the first game. Save it for the conference games.
Thank god football season has finally started! Let’s Go Mounties!
