At least it’s not the bearded lady imagine that I envisioned when I first heard about this.

Personally, I’d prefer this running around Mountaineer Field on a nice early-autumn day….

    in other news…

“Cornerback Brandon Hogan, fourth on the team last season with 60 tackles, is back after missing the Meineke Car Care Bowl for undisclosed reasons. ‘He is doing fantastic after dealing with a sensitive personal issue,’ Stewart said.”

I’m thinking STD. May he was hanging around Kellen Winslow Jr. too much.

This is bullshit, we are going to be the laghing stock of college football. When I think of a Moutaineer, I think of a big guy, with a big bad Grizzly Adams type beard, not a chick who can hardly hold up the god damn musket. I’m all about the girl having school spirit and being probably a great fan, but this is rediculous. Join the pep band or the cheeleading squad, honey.

I think a lot of guys need to look up the history of our Mascot. There have been other women that was our Mascot. I don’t think they were a laughing stock in Football.

    Mike,

There has been i WOMAN that was previously our mascot. I believe it was during the 90 or 91 season. We weren’t very good at that time.

    Aaron,
Grow up, your archaic opinions disturbing. If you’re thinking of a big guy, with a big bad Grizzly Adams type beard, I think you need to come to terms with your own sexual orientation. Good luck with that….

Maybe it’s just my “archaic opinion,” but where is the correlation between my discription of the mountaineer and my sexual orientation. Get your mind out of the gutter. It’s an opinion, like it or not.

Phil, you need to clean up your vocabulary. I never saw many of those words on a spelling or vocabulary test at WVU. And yes I graduated. Grow up. If you graduated maybe you need to go back and reenter.

Is it just me but when did whom the mascot was effect the play of a team???? She won the competiion and she is our Mountaineer next year… End of story….

What we need to do is quite arguing over who the mascot is and get ready for the upcoming season…

Taking back our spot as Beast of the East and proving all these “so called experts” that the Big East is a top conference…

I have spoke my mind… Take it as you will… Good day…
