2008 WVU football schedule released
After some unnecessary delays the Big East Conference has finally released their 2008 football schedule.
The following is the West Virginia Mountaineer football schedule for 2008:
| August 30 | Villanova |
| September 6 | AT East Carolina |
| September 18 | AT Colorado |
| September 27 | Marshall |
| October 4 | Rutgers |
| October 11 | Syracuse |
| October 23 | Auburn |
| November 1 | AT UCONN |
| November 8 | Cincinnati |
| November 22 | AT Louisville |
| November 28 | AT sPittsburgh |
| December 6 | South Florida |
NOTE: Sept. 18 and Oct. 23rd games will be on a Thursday night on ESPN. The Backyard Brawl will be the day after Thanksgiving on ABC. The Syracuse game will be featured as Homecoming. The Cincinnati game will be during Mountaineer Week. Finally, the South Florida season finale will either be on ESPN or ESPN 2.
So there you have it. It appears the second-half of the schedule is gonna be difficult as the Big East competition is getting better and better with each passing season. Here’s hoping for 12-0 and a BCS title game to Miami!
