The Princeton Review ranks WVU #1 Party School
The Princeton Review has issued it’s infamous Best 366 College Rankings today and WVU is back on top of many categories believe it or not. Of course the most coveted ranking is ours this year. #1 Party School! Good job guys.
Some people think this ranking has a negative effect on the image of WVU, not me. I look at it this way. Kids like to party, and a lot of them want to go to a school they know they will be able to get a good education and have a blast doing it. Every year this ranking gets national attention and so whether or not you think it’s good or bad, WVU is in the press and we can all agree that’s good. Every time we get this top spot student body numbers increase.
What the reports fail to mention though is we get a lot of other top 15 rankings along with this. Click this screengrab to see what I’m talking about.![]()
I love this list, top 10 in the following categories, LOTS OF BEER, LOTS OF HARD LIQUOR, NEVER STUDIES, PACK THE STADIUM, BEST COLLEGE NEWSPAPER, BEST COLLEGE LIBRARY and finally, PARTY SCHOOL.
I did notice however that we are slipping in one category that is really surprising to me, #11 in REEFER MADNESS! I guess that was a 90’s thing huh?
I would also like to note that we made the list of one of the top colleges in the SouthEast. Even though I don’t personally consider WVU in the SouthEast, we’ll take it.
